About House League

Our House League is designed to introduce and develop softball skills in a fun, inclusive, and low-pressure environment. Games are played with modified rules that support learning, improve pace of play, and increase player involvement. This approach allows athletes to build confidence, explore all areas of the game, and develop an understanding of teamwork and strategy at an appropriate stage of development.

Our House League Operates out of 2 primary locations in Calgary – Dalhousie and Cedarbrae.  Upon registration, you select your “home” location.  The majority of games will be played at your home location, however, some travel to the other location is required.

Games are played on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and each coach has the flexibity to schedule additional practices based on team availability.

U9 ($150) and U11 ($250) play from 6:00 – 7:15

U13 ($250) and up play from 7:15-8:45

Athletes in our House League program participate in games on Tuesday and Thursday evening, with an option to play on a Hybrid Travel team.   In adherence to our Fair Play policy, all players are provided with equal opportunity to play various positions throughout the season. With a strong focus on skill development and enjoyment, the program emphasizes equal opportunity, player engagement, and a positive team experience. Athletes benefit from a combination of volunteer coaches and guidance from experienced instructors or junior coaches, creating a supportive setting where players can grow, make friends, and develop a lasting appreciation for the game.

Softball is a powerful sport that builds confidence, resilience, and personal growth through teamwork, effort, and continuous development—both on and off the field. Our programs are designed to support athletes of all skill levels, creating a positive and inclusive environment where every player feels valued, challenged, and supported.

Through structured practices and game experiences, athletes develop technical skills, mental toughness, discipline, and self-belief. Success is not measured solely by wins, but by growth, leadership, and confidence gained along the way. With dedication and the right mindset, athletes develop the tools needed to reach their full potential in sport and beyond.
