Play
Play ball, develop skills, and demonstrate your skills!
“Play” is about doing what’s best for players long term development. We use the Softball Canada and Canada Sport For Life LTPD Matrix when designing our programs.
Participate
Participation goes beyond the sport….make friends, have fun, be healthy, be active, build connections!
“Participate” is about short term player engagement. We use the the Short Term Athlete Engagement model as outlined by “Changing the Game Project”.
Perform
Performance is a measurement that is unique to each player. Our goal is to help players reach their potential.
“Perform” is about laying the foundation for performance. According to Canada Sport For Life, “a training environment that creates a climate of acceptance and social connection, is the cornerstone for a rewarding and lasting female sporting environment.”
